Elastic fabrics with and without elastane for clothing. The basic material is cotton, viscose, modal or linen.
Viscose and modal are cellulose-based fibres produced in a chemical process. The basic material is therefore the renewable raw material wood. They are therefore not synthetic fibres based on petroleum, such as polyester. Compared to cotton jersey, they are more elastic, thinner and have a softer fall. Polyester and other synthetic materials are rarely offered here.
